Details:
A 17-Year-Old boy from Berger was killed after his vehicle collided with a semi-truck on Highway 19, near Aufderheide Road, north of Owensville, MO. Troopers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol say the accident happened around 1:32 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
According to reports, the 2010 Ford had begun to drift onto the shoulder when it over-corrected and went into the oncoming lane. There it collided with the semi-truck driven by a 62-year-old man from Sunrise Beach, with both vehicles going off the road and bursting into flames. The 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, and the semi-truck driver was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. Investigation into the accident is ongoing.
