A 19-Year-Old man from Frankfort, IL, was seriously injured after his disabled SUV was struck by a semi-truck on Indiana Toll Road/I-80 at mile marker 94 in Elkhart, IN. Indiana State Police report the accident occurred shortly after 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025. The teenager had exited his vehicle because of a prior accident, when the SUV was struck by the semi-truck, sending it into the young man. The semi-truck driver was uninjured, and weather is believed to have played a role in the accident.
