Details:
On or about Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, a serious charter bus accident sent 21 individuals to the hospital. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 290 in Waller County, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said 21 as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the charter bus they were on allegedly crashed and rolled under unspecified circumstances along the eastbound side of Highway 290. Two passengers on the bus were airlifted to the hospital, while eighteen other people were transported to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
Authorities have said the bus occupants may have been from Spartans Post Grad Academy.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the crash is at or very close to the intersection with Farm-to-Market 362.
