Details:
On or about Wednesday, July 14th, 2021, around 10:40 in the morning, a hit-and-run accident between a car and a tractor-trailer sent two individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the MHP said the accident occurred on the eastbound side of Interstate 90 just outside Garrison in Powell County, Montana.
Authorities from the Montana Highway Patrol said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck a car from behind, causing the car to roll off the side of the roadway. After the initial collision, the tractor-trailer fled the scene of the accident. Two people in the car were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 90 winds east and west through Garrison, which is about 284 miles northwest of Billings.
Police are still trying to track down the tractor-trailer, which is orange in color.
