A 50-Year-Old man from Belle Plaine, IA, was seriously injured in a single vehicle semi-truck accident on I-35 near Lathrop, MO. Troopers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol say the crash happened around 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

Early reports indicate the semi veered off the east side of the road before colliding with trees and a fence. The driver was transported to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
