On or about Monday, March 21st, 2022, around 6:30 in the morning, a serious two-vehicle accident left one person dead and sent another individual to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 137 just outside Garden City in Glasscock County, Texas.
Texas DPS representatives said 31-year-old Aaron William-Thomas Weber was killed when a vehicle driven by Jordi Rafael Cruz allegedly struck his vehicle after Cruz lost control on Highway 137. Paramedics pronounced Weber dead a short time after the accident, while Cruz was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 12 miles west of Garden City.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
