On or about Monday, February 1st, 2021, around 9:00 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer sent a 26-year-old woman to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident happened on the northbound side of Highway 96 just outside Jasper, Texas.
Texas DPS representatives said 26-year-old Abigail Klemcke was injured when her SUV allegedly struck the back of an oilfield service tractor-trailer in the northbound lanes. Emergency responders rushed Klemcke to Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their preliminary statement.
