On or about Thursday, June 2nd, 2022, around 8:10 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 51-year-old man dead and sent a 21-year-old man to the hospital. Troopers from the NJHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 78 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
Officials from the New Jersey Highway Patrol said 51-year-old Adan Loya-Rodriguez was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving and a passenger vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances along I-78. Emergency responders pronounced Loya-Rodriguez dead after the accident, while the as-of-yet unidentified 21-year-old driver of the passenger vehicle was taken to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
