Details:
On or about Monday, August 30th, 2021, an accident between two tractor-trailers claimed the life of a 29-year-old Nebraska man. Troopers from the USP said the accident was reported along the westbound side of SR 201 in West Valley City, Utah.
Police said 29-year-old Al Fhuere was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck a semi truck that was reportedly traveling extremely slowly along westbound SR 201. Emergency responders pronounced Fhuere dead of his injuries a short time after the collision. Officials did not mention any other injuries in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, SR 201 runs east and west through West Valley City, which is about 10 miles southwest of downtown Salt Lake City.
Police are still investigating the crash.
