Details:
On or about Friday, January 5th, 2021, around 2:15 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left a 48-year-old Baltimore, Maryland man dead. Authorities said the accident happened on the northbound side of Interstate 285 in Fulton County, Georgia.
Law enforcement sources said 48-year-old Alberto Henderson was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer when he exited his vehicle after getting a flat tire. Emergency responders pronounced Henderson dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene.
The scene of the accident is a short distance west of downtown Atlanta, according to Google Maps.
Atlanta Police and GSP Troopers are investigating the accident.
