On or about Tuesday, January 12th, 2021, an accident between a flatbed truck and a car claimed the life of a 19-year-old man. State Police said the accident happened on an unspecified roadway in Colleton County, South Carolina.
Authorities from the area said 19-year-old Alex Sherill was killed when his car allegedly collided with a flatbed truck that was attempting a turn. Paramedics rushed Sherill to nearby Trident Medical Center where he died a short time after his arrival. Police did not mention any other injuries in their preliminary report.
