On or about Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, around 1:23 in the morning, a major single-vehicle rollover car accident left a 17-year-old dead. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported along North Grand Street in Amarillo, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives said 17-year-old Alex Thomas was killed when the vehicle he was driving allegedly veered off the side of North Grand Street and rolled a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced Thomas dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is in the 3400 block of North Grand Street.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
