On or about Saturday, June 12th, 2021, around 4:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian claimed the life of a 30-year-old man. Department of Public Safety Troopers said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market 1788 near Midland in Midland County, Texas.
Officers said 30-year-old Alexander Marshall was killed when he was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer as he was walking down or making an attempt to cross the lanes of FM 1788. Paramedics pronounced Marshall dead of his injuries a short time after the incident. Police did not mention any other injuries in their initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident on Farm-to-Market 1788 is a short distance southwest of the Midland city limits.
State and local law enforcement officials are investigating the accident.
