Details:
On or about Thursday, June 10th, 2021, around 12:00 in the morning, an accident between two tractor-trailers and a disabled 18-wheeler claimed the life of a 37-year-old Houston, Texas man. Troopers from the ISP said the accident was reported on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 in Morgan County, Indiana.
Police said 37-year-old Alfred Hill was killed when he was allegedly struck by an 18-wheeler as he was placing warning triangles around his disabled tractor-trailer on the eastbound side of I-70. After the initial collision, the tractor-trailer bounced off the disabled truck and struck a third semi. Paramedics pronounced Hill dead of his injuries a short time after the collision. One other person was rushed to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 70 runs east and west through Morgan County, which is situated about 24 miles southwest of downtown Indianapolis.
Police are still investigating the accident.
