Details:
On or about Friday, April 1st, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a pickup truck and another pickup left one man dead and sent another to the hospital. Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 315 just outside Carthage in Panola County, Texas.
Investigators from the area said 63-year-old Allen Leachman was killed when the pickup truck he was driving and another pickup truck collided when one of them allegedly turned into the path of the other along Highway 315. Emergency responders pronounced Leachman dead a short time after the accident, while the driver of the other pickup truck was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance west of Carthage.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
