On or about Sunday, June 12th, 2022, around 6:40 in the evening, a serious single-vehicle car accident left a 57-year-old man dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 800 in Harlingen, Texas.
Local law enforcement representatives said 57-year-old Alma Garcia-Garcia was killed when the pickup truck she was in allegedly drove off the side of FM 800 and rolled several times a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced Garcia dead of her injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is near Business 83.
Officials are still looking into the crash.
