Details:
On or about Sunday, February 6th, 2022, around 2:21 in the morning, a serious three vehicle car accident left a 23-year-old woman dead and sent two other people to the hospital. Troopers from the DPS said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 2020 near Odessa in Ector County, Texas.
Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers said 23-year-old Amairany Flores was killed when a Honda CRV allegedly veered over the center line of the roadway and truck two GMC Acadias in the oncoming lanes of traffic. Paramedics pronounced Flores dead of her injuries a short time after the accident. Two other people were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident. Police did not specify which vehicle Flores was in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about six miles west of Odessa.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
