On or about Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, around 9:45 in the morning, a serious accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer sent a 28-year-old woman and a 70-year-old man to the hospital. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported along Highway 22 just outside Hutchinson in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Investigators from the Minnesota State Patrol said 28-year-old Emily Althmann and 70-year-old Gary Haider were injured when Althmann’s pickup truck collided with Haider’s tractor-trailer in an intersection on Highway 22. Emergency responders transported Althmann and Haider to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Hutchinson, which is about 61 miles west of downtown Minneapolis.
Officials are still investigating.
