Details:
On or about Thursday, June 23rd, 2022, around 12:30 in the morning, an accident between a pedestrian and a truck left a 45-year-old woman dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the Southwest Parkway in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Representatives from the Texas DPS said 45-year-old Amy Jeanette Pool was killed when she was allegedly hit by a truck as she was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Southwest Parkway. Emergency responders rushed Pool to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries a short time after her arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at or near the intersection with Fairway.
Police are still looking into the accident.
