Details:
On or about Friday, January 14th, 2022, around 5:35 in the afternoon, a head-on accident between a passenger vehicle and a wrong-way driver left a 31-year-old man dead. Authorities said the accident was reported in the 5600 block of RM 620 in Travis County, Texas.
Police said 31-year-old Andrew Sciba was killed when the Acura he was driving was allegedly struck head-on by a Ford Mustang that was driving the wrong direction on RM 620. Emergency responders pronounced Sciba dead of his injuries a short time after the collision. It is not clear if the driver of the Mustang was hurt in the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident on RM 620 is on the northwest side of Austin.
Police are still investigating the accident.
