Details:
On or about Wednesday, December 16th, 2020, around 1:00 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a tanker truck claimed the life of a 44-year-old man. Deputies from Bexar County said the accident happened along Roosevelt Avenue near the intersection with Southwest Military Drive in San Antonio, Texas.
Police said 44-year-old Angel Baltazar was killed when his pickup truck allegedly collided with the back of a tanker truck that had just turned onto Roosevelt Avenue. Emergency responders cut Baltazar from the wreckage and rushed him to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the tanker truck, who police did not identify, did not report injuries after the crash.
Authorities closed down all the north and southbound lanes of Roosevelt Avenue in order to tend to the scene.

Police are still investigating the accident.
