Details:
On or about Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, a major accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 21-year-old man. Officials from the area said the accident was reported along Highway 16 at or near the intersection with Smith Road in Bexar County, Texas.
Officials said 21-year-old Angel Gonzalez was killed when the car he was driving was allegedly cut off by a tractor-trailer on Highway 16 when the vehicles collided, causing Gonzalez’ vehicle to drive beneath the tractor-trailer. Paramedics pronounced Gonzalez dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Highway 16 and Smith Road is situated on the south side of Bexar County.
Police are still investigating the incident.
