On or about Friday, May 14th, 2021, around 11:00 in the morning, an accident between a truck and a car left a 57-year-old woman dead. Police said the accident was reported along Highway 60 near the exchange with Box School Loop in Seymour, Missouri.
Troopers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol said 57-year-old Angela Perdicardo was killed when her car was allegedly rear-ended by a truck while she was stooped in the roadway. Emergency response personnel pronounced Perdicardo dead of her injuries after the accident. The driver and passenger in the truck were treated for unspecified injuries stemming from the crash.
According to Google Maps, Highway 60 runs east and west through the northern edge of Seymour, which is about 38 miles east of Springfield.
