Details:
On or about Friday, February 11th, 2022, around 7:30 in the evening, an accident between a pedestrian and two other vehicles left a 50-year-old woman dead. Authorities from the DPS said the accident was reported on Farm-to-Market Road 449 in Marshall, Texas.
Investigators said 50-year-old Angela Reena Flamer was killed when she was allegedly struck by two vehicles as she was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of FM 449. After the initial accident, one of the vehicles fled the scene.
Police have since charged 78-year-old Thomas Earl Jackson with intoxication manslaughter in connection with the accident.
Police are still investigating.
