On or about Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021, around 2:01 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left a 44-year-old man dead. Officials from the ASP said the accident was reported along Highway 71 near Boldrey Lane in rural Polk County, Arkansas.
Troopers from the Arkansas State Police said 44-year-old Anthony Cole was killed when his Chevrolet S10 pickup truck allegedly crossed from the southbound lanes and collided with a tractor-trailer in the northbound lanes. Paramedics pronounced Cole dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident. Troopers did not mention any other injuries in their preliminary statement on the crash.
According to Google Maps, Highway 71 runs north and south through Polk County, which is located about 130 miles west of Little Rock.
