On or about Friday, November 19th, 2021, around 8:00 at night, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian left a 33-year-old man dead. Deputies from the Denton County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of East McKinney Street and Laney Circle in Denton, Texas.
Authorities said 33-year-old Anthony Stephen Minich was killed when he was allegedly hit by a vehicle after a previous single-vehicle motorcycle accident on East McKinney Street near Laney Circle. Paramedics pronounced Minich dead a short time after the accident, but it is not immediately clear if he died at the scene or if he was taken to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 40 miles north of downtown Dallas.
