Details:
On or about Friday, December 10th, 2021, around 12:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a man riding a bicycle left one individual dead. Authorities from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along East Little York Road near the exchange with Northline Drive in Houston, Texas.
Police said 65-year-old Anthony Williams was killed when he was allegedly struck by a turning tractor-trailer as he was riding his bike across East Little York Road. Emergency responders pronounced Williams dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident. Officials did not mention any other injuries in their initial report on the incident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of East Little York Road and Northline Drive is on the north side of Houston.
Police are still investigating the incident.
