On or about Tuesday, October 12th, 2021, around 8:43 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle claimed the life of a 32-year-old man. Deputies from the Clark County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Blue Diamond Road at or near the intersection with Torry Pines Drive in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Law enforcement spokespeople said 32-year-old Arman Amjad was killed when a turning tractor-trailer allegedly struck Amjad’s motorcycle as he was eastbound on Blue Diamond Road. Emergency responders pronounced Amjad dead of his injuries a short time after the accident, but officials did not specify if he died at the scene or if he succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Blue Diamond Road and Torry Pines Drive is situated on the south side of Las Vegas, in the suburb of Enterprise.
Police are still investigating the accident.
