Armando Jimenez Cadena was killed and his passenger critically injured after a collision with a semi-truck Tuesday morning, December 10, 2024. California Highway Patrol reports that Cadena’s truck was dragged nearly 100 feet after the collision before bursting into flame. A nearby witness was able to free the passenger of the truck, who was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Authorities report Cadena likely missed the stop sign due to the foggy conditions at the time.
