Details:

On or about November 4th, 2021, around 1:00 in the morning, a hit-and-run accident between a tractor-trailer and a pedestrian left a 27-year-old man dead. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 10 in El Paso, Texas.

Officers from the El Paso Police Department said 27-year-old Armando Torres was killed when he was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer while he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross Interstate 10. After the initial impact with Torres, the tractor-trailer fled the scene of the incident. Torres succumbed to his injuries a short time after the accident.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the Trowbridge exit.

Police are still looking for the driver and truck that fled the scene.
