On or about Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, around 4:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car claimed the life of a 36-year-old Milnor woman. Troopers from the NDHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 13 and 137th Avenue Southeast in Gwinner, North Dakota.
Police said 36-year-old Ashly Odegard was killed when the Ford Fusion she was in allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer that had slowed or stopped to turn at the intersection of Highway 13 and 137th Avenue Southeast. Paramedics rushed Odegard to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries a s hort time after her arrival. No other injuries were mentioned by authorities in their report.
According to Google Maps, Gwinner is about 200 miles southeast of Bismarck.
