On or about Tuesday, July 5th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, a serious two-vehicle car accident left a 47-year-old woman dead. Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 277 in Taylor County, Texas.
Investigators from the Texas DPS said 47-year-old Aurelia L. Clark was killed when the vehicle she was in and another vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances along Highway 277. Paramedics pronounced Clark dead of her injuries following the accident, but it is not currently clear if she died at the scene, or if she was rushed to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries a short time after her arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance outside Abilene.
Police are still looking into the accident.
