Details:
On or about Thursday, June 16th, 2022, around 3:35 in the afternoon, an accident between two motorcycles and a box truck left one individual dead. Troopers from the SCHP said the accident was reported along Highway 378 in Florence County, South Carolina.
Representatives from the South Carolina Highway Patrol said 21-year-old Bates Coy McCutchen was killed when a box truck allegedly hit his motorcycle, and another nearby motorcycle along Highway 378. Emergency responders pronounced McCutchen dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Park Avenue.
