On or about Thursday, June 17th, 2021, an accident between a log truck and a car left a 31-year-old woman dead. Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Southeast HK Dodgen Loop in Temple, Texas.
Investigators said 31-year-old Bayley Meuse was killed when her car and a log truck collided under unknown conditions, and that Meuse was rushed to nearby Baylor Scott & White where she succumbed to her injuries the morning after her arrival. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
