On or about Thursday, August 19th, 2021, around 10:30 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer left one person dead and sent two others to the hospital. Spokespeople from the ISP said the accident was reported along State Road 37 near the intersection with State Road 128 in Madison County, Indiana.

Law enforcement representatives said 41-year-old Benjamin Capshaw was killed when his car and a dump truck collided under unspecified circumstances along State Road 37. Capshaw died of his injuries at the scene of the accident, while the driver of the tractor-trailer, identified as 43-year-old Frank Power and his passenger were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

According to Google Maps, State Road 37 runs north and south through Madison County, which is about 46 miles northeast of downtown Indianapolis.
