On or about Wednesday, March 30th, 2022, around 8:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a storage unit that hat allegedly broken free of a truck left one man dead. Officials from the area said the accident was reported along Highway 418 near Huff Creek Drive in Greenville, South Carolina.

Law enforcement officials said the SCHP said Berly Gibbs Zeigler was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving allegedly crashed into a storage unit that had broken free of a truck that was towing it along Highway 418. Emergency responders pronounced Zeigler dead a short time after the collision with the storage unit.

According to Google Maps, the intersection of Highway 418 and Huff Creek Drive is on the south side of Greenville.

Police are still working to pin down what happened in the incident.
