Details:
On or about March 12th, 2022, around 2:41 in the afternoon, a major accident between a tractor-trailer and several other vehicles sent six individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 69C in Pharr, Texas.
Officials from the Texas DPS said Blanca Esqueda Hernandez, Ignacio Olguin Diaz, and four other people were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly slammed into a line of cars in stopped or slowed traffic along I-69. Paramedics transported Hernandez, Diaz, and four other people to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance east of McAllen, in far south Texas, not far from the border with Mexico.
Police are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
