On or about Sunday, November 14th, 2021, around 12:43 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a motorcycle left two people dead. Deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 6000 block of East Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth, Texas.

Investigators said 33-year-old Blake Austin Hasty and his as-of-yet unidentified passenger were killed when the motorcycle they were on and a pickup truck collided under unspecified circumstances in the 6000 block of East Lancaster Avenue. Paramedics pronounced the motorcycle passenger dead of their injuries at the scene. Hasty was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries several hours after his arrival. A passenger in the pickup truck was also taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the east side of Fort Worth.

Police are still working to determine the cause of the accident.
