Details:
On or about Sunday, April 25th, 2021, around 12:30 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer left a 39-year-old man dead and sent three other people to the hospital. Police from the area said the accident was reported along Fraser Place near the intersection with Garden Street in Hartford, Connecticut.
Investigators said 39-year-old Blanchard Baisden was killed when the SUV he was driving allegedly slammed into the back of a parked and unoccupied 18-wheeler. Baisden was pronounced dead of his injuries a short time after the collision, but police did not specify if he died at the scene or after being taken to a nearby hospital. Three other passengers in the SUV were treated for injuries of an unspecified nature or severity after being rushed to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
