On or about Tuesday, June 7th, 2022, sometime in the evening hours, an accident between a box truck and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Local law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported along Interstate 20 in Mitchell County, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas Department of Public Safety said Bobby Henderson was killed when the vehicle he was in allegedly struck the back of a box truck that was stopped for unknown reasons along Interstate 20. Emergency responders pronounced Henderson dead of his injuries a short time after the collision, but it is not clear if he died at the scene or if he was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from mile marker 211.
