A box truck driver was injured after a rear-end collision with a tractor-trailer on Maynardville Highway in Halls, KY. First responders from Rural Metro Fire say the accident took place around 6:00 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025.

Firefighters spent nearly 45 minutes extricating the man, who was transported to a nearby trauma center with undisclosed injuries. The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently under investigation.
