On or about Saturday, May 22nd, 2021, around 9:00 at night, an accident between a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler claimed the lives of a brother and sister from Mount Joy. Investigators from the area said the accident was reported at the intersection of Main Street and Graystone Road in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Police said 21-year-old Brandi Lee Kasper and 18-year-old Leonard Christian Kasper IV were killed when the pickup truck they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unknown circumstances. Emergency responders pronounced Brandie and Leonard Kasper dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured in the accident.

According to Google Maps, the intersection of Main Street and Graystone Road is situated in East Petersburg Borough, which is about 68 miles west of Philadelphia.

Police are still examining the circumstances that led to the accident.
