On or about Saturday, February 19th, 2022, around 1:00 in the morning, a serious car accident claimed the life of a 32-year-old man. Representatives from the Department said the accident was reported in the 5700 block of Interstate 27 in Lubbock, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Lubbock Police Department said 32-year-old Brandon Brock was killed when he allegedly fell from a moving vehicle and was subsequently struck by a portion of the vehicle when he fell. Emergency responders pronounced Brock dead of his injuries after the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles or injuries in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 27 cuts north and south through the center of Lubbock.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
