On or about Thursday, February 3rd, 2022, around 6:04 in the evening, a serious single-vehicle car accident sent a 25-year-old man to the hospital. Deputies from the LCSO said the accident was reported along 50th Street and Upland Avenue in Lubbock, Texas.
Officials said 25-year-old Brenden Lee was injured when the vehicle he was in allegedly drove off the side the road and struck utility pole at the intersection of 50th Street and Upland Avenue. Emergency responders rushed Lee to the hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the southwest side of Lubbock.
Authorities are still investigating.
