Details:
On or about Thursday, March 24th, 2022, around 3:35 in the afternoon, a major two-vehicle accident left two individuals dead. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 103 in Angelina County, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said 46-year-old Brenton Tarver and 54-year-old Nelda Stanley were killed when Tarver’s Toyota 4Runner allegedly veered over the center line in order to avoid a collision with a vehicle stopped behind a school bus and hit Stanley’s Nissan Maxima head-on in oncoming traffic. Emergency responders pronounced Stanley and Tarver dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Angelina County is about 125 miles northeast of Houston.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
