Details:
On or about Saturday, June 19th, 2021, around 2:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV claimed the lives of three people. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection FM 2286 and FM 2301 in Floyd County, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas DPS said 24-year-old Brian Anthony Anderson, 20-year-old Christian Angel Orozco, and 19-year-old Elena Mia Vasquez were killed when the SUV they were in allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer at the intersection of Farm-to-Market 2301. Police believe one of the vehicles may have failed to yield before the accident. Paramedics pronounced Anderson, Orozco and Vasquez dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of FM 2286 and FM 2301 is situated in the Providence area, about 10 miles east of the Plainview city limits.
