Details:
On or about Sunday, July 11th, 2021, an accident between a dump truck and a concrete worker claimed the life of a 49-year-old man. Authorities from the GSP said the accident was reported at a construction site along Pilgrim Mill Road in Forsyth County, Georgia.
Police said 49-year-old Brian Cook was killed when he was allegedly struck by a dump truck after he may have fallen while cleaning out the pump of a concrete truck at a new home construction site. Emergency responders pronounced Cook dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. The driver of the dump truck was unhurt in the accident.
According to Google Maps, Pilgrim Mill Road winds through a residential area near Dunn, which is roughly 45 miles north of downtown Atlanta.
Police are still working to pin down the circumstances that led to the accident.
