Details:
On or about Friday, December 3rd, 2021, around 5:30 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident claimed the lives of two Missouri men. Troopers from the SCHP said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 20 near the 33 mile marker in Aiken County, South Carolina.
Representatives from the South Carolina Highway Patrol said 41-year-old Brandin L. Greear and 41-year-old Brian D. McGee were killed when the tractor-trailer they were in allegedly veered off the eastbound side of I-20 and slammed into a number of trees in a wooded patch a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders pronounced Greear and McGee dead after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 20 runs east and west along the northern edge of Aiken County.
Police are still investigating the crash.
