On or about Friday, December 10th, 2021, around 8:38 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a dump truck sent a 30-year-old woman to the hospital. Deputies from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported on County Road 150 in Warsaw, Indiana.
Law enforcement spokespeople said 30-year-old Brittany Poe was injured when the box truck she was driving was allegedly struck by a dump truck that crossed over the center line of CR 150 when the truck’s axle locked up. Paramedics transported Poe to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. Officials identified the driver of the dump truck as 21-year-old Lloyd Shipman, who was unhurt in the collision.
According to Google Maps, Warsaw is about 126 miles north of downtown Indianapolis.
Police are still investigating the collision.
