On or about Wednesday, June 6th, 2022, around 3:35 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 27-year-old woman dead. Spokespeople from the ASP said the accident was reported along Interstate 55 in Mississippi County, Arkansas.
Representatives from the Arkansas State Police said 27-year-old Brittany Shanice Woodson was killed when the vehicle she was in allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer along Interstate 55. Emergency responders pronounced Woodson dead at the scene of the collision. Officials did not mention any other injuries stemming from the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northbound side of I-55 near the 55 mile marker.
